As event planners and marketers are starting to realize, hybrid events are an entirely new event type that require a different planning process from fully virtual or in-person events. They are all about creating one event with two experiences that engage each audience. This format is the future of the events industry and we’re seeing organizations take on the challenge of being one of the firsts to execute a hybrid event safely and successfully. MPI recently took on that challenge and reimagined their World Education Congress as a hybrid event that drew over 1700 attendees, with 600 attending in-person at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in November.
